Education is a tool for social justice.
Our aim is to empower students and teachers to explore the ways in which learning about ‘race’ and racism can help us to challenge the unequal systems that surround us in society.

Katie explained foundational concepts in anti-racist education for our student teachers, through her accessible and motivating session. As a model for knowledgeable, committed and engaging teaching and learning, her work is inspiring; our students left with greater confidence to address issues of 'race' and racism through their own practice.

The content was clear and delivered in an engaging manner using easy to understand language.
The session was really insightful and handled the topic so sensitively. It reiterated to me the importance of listening.
Very engaged as many of the points were things I had not thought about. It was accessible, but also included informative academic content which allowed for it to be contextualised at a relevant level.
The structure of racism was broken down at a level which helped people understand how prevalent it is. Excellent workshop!
